as of 3/19/2020 - While the government and CDC are recommending the limit of groups to less than 10, at this time funerals are exempt from this rule. We at Baird Funeral Home are making every effort to limit exposure to ourselves and the families we serve.
***LIVESTREAM OF FUNERALS WILL BE OFFERED ON OUR WEBSITE AND OUR FACEBOOK PAGE (when family of the deceased requests this option). If you are unable to attend or feel safer at home, please use the streaming option to view the services from your computer, phone, tablet or other device. While this is not ideal, it does give you a chance to be a part of the service from afar.
DO NOT ATTEND A FUNERAL OR VISITATION IF YOU ARE SICK, HAVE A FEVER, COUGH OR HAVE BEEN SICK.
DO NOT HUG, SHAKE HANDS OR IN OTHER WAYS TOUCH OTHER PEOPLE. KEEP DISTANCE BETWEEN YOURSELF AND OTHERS. This is a hard rule to follow during a time of grief, but everyone is aware of how vigilant we must be at this time. Limit your visiting time when in the funeral home so that less people are in the building and everyone can keep "social distance".
WASH YOUR HANDS. USE HAND SANITIZER. TRY TO NOT TOUCH SURFACES.
Use phone calls and social media to reach out to the families who are grieving.
BE PATIENT AND KNOW THAT WE ARE MAKING EVERY EFFORT TO HONOR THOSE WHO HAVE PASSED, WHILE CARING FOR THEIR FAMILIES AND EVERYONE THAT WE COME INTO CONTACT WITH.
