As of 5/27/2020 - Throughout the entire pandemic quarantine, funerals have been exempt from state mandates regarding gathering limits. However, at the beginning, most people were concerned about possible exposures and we encouraged private gatherings for our client families. As Ohio officials begin to open access to many types of gatherings, funerals are following that trend.
As of June 1st, we at Baird Funeral Home are choosing to allow our facility to be open for funeral gatherings as the family so desires. If you choose to attend a funeral or other type of gathering, please know that you are doing so at your own risk. Our facilities are set up to accommodate socially distanced seating as best as possible. If you do not feel comfortable being around people, please do not attend. If you want to wear a mask, we encourage you to do so. You are free to choose the manner in which you reach out to the grieving families that we serve.
AS ALWAYS, PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND A FUNERAL OR VISITATION IF YOU ARE SICK, HAVE A FEVER, COUGH OR HAVE BEEN SICK. OUR PRIORITY IS FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL IN ATTENDANCE AS THE BEREAVED FAMILIES GO THROUGH THEIR TIME OF LOSS.
