Paul Napier

Paul Napier, age 88, of Troy, OH passed away on March 25, 2024 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, OH.  He was born on June 21, 1935 in Pineville, KY to the late Henry D. and Elizabeth (Selvey) Napier. 

He is survived by his wife of 63 years: Wanda (Owens) Napier; children: Melissa (Charlie) Beorn of Monroe, OH and Karen Godbey of Springboro, OH and Paul Napier, Jr. of Norword, OH; four grandchildren: Brooke, Jordan, Adam and Megan; three great grandchildren with one on the way: Betty Rae, Harvey and Isabela; brother: Ross (Jerilis) Napier of Pineville, KY and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son: Mark A. Napier; four brothers: WB, Don, Howard and Henry Jr. and two sisters: Mary Alice and Patricia.

Paul was a graduate of Pineville High School in Pineville, KY.  He was a member of First Light Church in Vandalia.  He worked out of Local 82 as an electrician.  Paul was dedicated to keeping his body fit and enjoyed exercising at the YMCA.  Most of all, he loved the Lord and his work as a layman planting churches. 

Services will be held at 11:00AM on April 3, 2024 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with John Seagraves officiating.  Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00AM – 11:00AM.
