Michelle Longendelpher Hershey

Michelle Longendelpher Hershey, age 68, passed away unexpectedly on May 9, 2021 at her residence in Sugar Land, TX.  She was born in Troy, OH to the late Glenn Longendelpher and Thelma Longendelpher Archer Jotcham.   

Michelle is survived by her sons: Jason (Monica) Hershey and Travis Hershey; sisters: Vicki Kearney Eisele (Rudy) and Cindia Cyr (Lance); stepsister: Linda Hetlerbrand (Ron, deceased) and stepbrother: Paul Archer (Betty Jo); nieces and nephews: Megan, Katie, Amy, David, Doug, Christy, Missy, Laura, Ryan and Michael and many great nieces and great nephews.  In addition to her parents, Michelle was preceded in death by her sister: Deborah Krumpack; nephew: Michael Henderson and stepfathers: Forest Archer and Denis Jotcham.

She enjoyed listening to classic music, attending live concerts, watching classic TV shows, rooting for Houston sports teams, talking on the phone with friends and spending time with her sons.

She lived an adventurous life filled with ups and downs.  Through it all she seemed to be enjoying life more over the past few months until her unexpected end.

She passed away in her sleep while sitting on her favorite spot on her couch.  Her family and loved ones will always take comfort in knowing that there were no signs of pain or struggle.  “On The Wings of Angels” was her favorite quote. 

Services will be held at 11:00AM on May 22, 2021 at Riverside Cemetery Chapel in Troy, OH.  The family suggests in lieu of flowers, contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association, Hospice, RT Industries or your favorite charity.  Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.bairdfuneralhome.com.
