Marjorie Mary (Pequignot) Sink (95) celebrated life until December 14th, 2018.
Marjorie, born June 4, 1923, was the oldest of four children of Ervin and Marie (Hartmeier) Pequignot of Greenville, Ohio. Marjorie attended Greenville High School where she met her husband of 73 years, Robert (Bob) Sink. Following their marriage Bob and Marjorie lived virtually the rest of their lives in Troy, Ohio.
Marjorie’s brothers, John and J. E. (Dick), preceded her in death as did her husband, Bob and her granddaughter, Cynthia W. Littleton. Marjorie is survived by her brother, Bob Pequignot of Springfield, Ohio; her daughter, Marcia S. Burttram (Bruce) and her grandson, Alex Littleton, both residents of Alabama; and many loving nieces and nephews.
During Marjorie’s lifetime she volunteered at Stouder Hospital, was an avid bridge player, joyfully danced in the arms of her husband in a Cotillion club and was an active member of St. Patrick Church. She was slow to anger, quick to forgive, prayed daily, and valued her friends, family, and community. Marjorie especially loved and cared for children in Shenandoah (Troy) neighborhood during the many years Bob (“Mr. Bob”) and she (“Mrs. Bob”) lived there.
Special gratitude goes to the staff and workers of Heartland Hospice. Memorial contributions are suggested to be made to Heartland Hospice, 580 Lincoln Park Blvd., Suite 320, Kettering, OH 45429; St. Vincent de Paul, 124 W.
