Harold "Duane" Bachtold

Harold “Duane” Bachtold, age 76, of Tipp City, passed away on February 7, 2020 at Kettering Medical Center. Duane was born on February 27, 1943 in Illinois to the late Melvin and Bernadine A. (Patrick) Bachtold.

Duane is survived by his wife of 27 years: Susan (Priddy) Bachtold; daughter: Sherryl (Scott) Siegel of McDonough, GA; stepdaughter: Heather Taylor of Arcadia, FL; sister: Carol (Pete) Morris of Muscle Shoals, AL; and grandchildren: Michael Taber III of Tampa Bay, FL, and Leslie and Sydney Siegel of GA.

Duane was a member of the Elks lodge in Florida and was the past president of Arcadia Rodeo Association. He also owned and operated a Horse Riding Stable business. Duane was a private pilot, loved woodworking, and was an excellent handyman.

Services will be held at a later date by the family.
