Frank D. Edmisten

Frank D. Edmisten, age 78, of Troy, OH passed away on January 12, 2023 at his residence.  He was born on August 3, 1944 in Portsmouth, OH to the late Frank R. and Clara M. (Ingles) Edmisten.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years of marriage: Linda L. (Welker) Edmisten; sons and daughters-in-law: Chris and Shari of Clyde Park, MT; Brett and Lauren of Idaho Falls, ID and Andy and Kim of Bozeman, MT; stepdaughters: Tonja and David of Pickerington, OH and Tracy of Piqua, OH; grandchildren: Marty, Ashly, Erica, Pam, Emma, Max and Sam and greatgrandchildren: Kaily, Brian, Holden, Jude, Thom, Kody and Alice.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Theodore R. Edmisten and George E. Edmisten.

Frank served his country in the US Navy from 1962 – 1965.  He was a 1973 graduate of the University of Cincinnati. 

He was an engineer with BF Goodrich for over 25 years, retiring in 2005.  He was a member of the American Legion in Tipp City, Troy Elks Lodge and Trout Unlimited and he loved his fishing.

An informal gathering of family and friends will be held from 4:00-7:00PM on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Neurological Disorder Research for Parkinson’s Disease, in care of the Michael J. Fox Foundation, PO Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
