Donna May Crosier

Donna May Crosier, age 63, of Troy went to be with the Lord Sunday November 27, 2022 at her home. She was born October 19, 1959 in Middletown, CT. to the late David Michael and Carol May (Spencer) Crosier.

Donna grew up in Old Lime CT. and graduated with her masters in Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic. She came to Ohio twenty-nine years ago as an automotive engineer, and for the last twelve years greatly enjoyed working for French Oil in Piqua. An active member of Grace Baptist Church in Troy, Donna served as Church Clerk, led Bible studies, helped with funeral meals and participated in numerous other ministries throughout the years, always looking for opportunities to serve others. Those who had the privilege of knowing Donna will remember her extensive collection of hats, gleaned from years of fighting cancer, as well as an enthusiastic love of cats. She was the proud caretaker of her Crosier and Spencer roses, lovingly transplanted from Connecticut.

Donna is survived by her brother D. Michael Crosier Jr. and his wife Barbra Crosier of Uncasville, Ct, nephew David Manuel Crosier, wife Alexandria, and niece Danielle Willhoit, husband Chris, in addition to four great nieces and nephews. While living in Ohio, friendship blossomed into an adopted family, wherein Donna is survived by Rich and Mary Nilsen, Rebecca Sellman, Aaron and Sarah Gosser, PJ Dukes, Josh and Amber Howard, and Emily and Ethan Motter. 

Funeral service will be held Saturday December 3, 2022 at the Baird Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Pausley officiating. Friends may call on the family from 12-3PM, with service following. Hats encouraged. :)
