Darren B. Hawkins

Darren B. Hawkins, age 55, of Troy, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton.  He was born on January 28, 1968, in El Paso, TX, to the late Harry Hawkins and Sandra (Smith) Phelps.

Darren is survived by his wife of over 14 years: Heather Ann (Howell) Hawkins; four children: Libby Hawkins of Bakersfield, CA, Emma Hawkins of Columbus, OH, and Aleis Hawkins and Sierra Hawkins, both of Troy, OH; one brother: Shawn Hawkins of CA; and one granddaughter: Nora Hawkins of Bakersfield, CA.

Darren was a 1986 graduate of Thomas Worthington High School in Columbus.  He received a Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design from Full Sail University in Florida.  Darren was a member of the Ohio National Guard.  He attended The Valley Church.  Darren loved Ohio State football, photography and cycling.  He was formerly a Worship Arts Director prior to entering into graphic arts with Source Brand Solutions in Mansfield, OH.  Darren also had a small business in photography.

Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
