Conrad Wayne Traughber

CONRAD WAYNE TRAUGHBER, age 84, of Troy, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021.  He was born on November 22, 1936 in Robertson Co., TN to the late Rayburn and Gladys (Frye) Traughber.

Wayne is survived by his wife of almost 60 years: Carol Lynn (Mackoway) Traughber; his six children: Lisa Jardine of Lebanon; Brian Traughber of Murfreesboro, TN; Barry Traughber of Fishers, IN; CW Jr. “Kip” (Kim) Traughber of Cincinnati; Beverly (Michael) Uter of Colorado Springs, CO; Diana (Dr. Charles) Svendsen of Bloomington, MN and five grandchildren: Alyssa; John “Phil”; Alex; Elin and Brad. 

Wayne served briefly in the National Guard. He was retired from General Motors – Delco Division.  He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy.  After retirement, he enjoyed traveling extensively with his wife.  Most important to Wayne, was his faith and his family.   He enjoyed working on cars with his sons and working in his yard.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy.  A private interment will be held at a later date.
