Wilma Jean Ellison

Wilma Jean Ellison, age 87, of Troy, Ohio, passed away on September 23, 2026, at Hospice of Miami County. She was born on August 7, 1939, in Gettysburg to the late Clyde Hershal and Roberta Myrl (Laughman) Wilson.

She is survived by her three children: Theresa (Kevin) Burnside of Troy, Lori (Chris) Dennis of Florida and Bonnie (Tony) Blair of Florida; siblings: Lula Mae Warner of Pleasant Hill and Carol Bollheimer of Ansonia; eleven grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; her caregiver and granddaughter: Shannon Darby; and her dogs: Tia and Lacey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter: Kristina Louis Darby; brother: Gary Duane Wilson; and cat: Mollie May.

She attended Covington High School. She was a member of Troy View Church of God. She retired from Evenflo. She loved Lincoln Square.

Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at Baird Funeral Home in Troy. Memorial service will be 7:00 PM on Tuesday with Pastor Dan Cain officiating. Graveside service will be held at a later date.
