William A. Leffel

William A. Leffel, age 92 of Troy, Ohio passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Wayne Hospital in Greenville. He was born October 22, 1933, in Troy, Ohio to the late Robert A. Sr. and Kathryn (Staley) Leffel.

He is survived by daughter, Diana L. (Steve) Stebbins of Greenville, Ohio, and Debra A. (Jeff) Meredith of Covington, Ohio, four granddaughters Kelly Elleman, Amy (Josh) Barker, Christina (Ryan) Skinner, and Brittany (Landin) Pritchard, six great grandchildren and his loving partner Mary Dray. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife: Patricia A. Leffel and brother Robert A. Leffel Jr.

Bill was a 1952 graduate of Troy High School. He attended the University of Dayton and Sinclair community college. Bill was a 60-year member of the Franklin Lodge #14 F&AM, Scottish Rite and was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War.

He loved many outdoor activities, fishing and boating at his lake houses. He bowled on a league and played golf. He loved old cars. He was a toolmaker by trade working at Chrysler until his retirement and owning and operating a tool and die shop Lefco Tool and Mfg.(now Design Technology).

Service will be held at 11 AM Friday, May 15, 2026, at Baird funeral home with Pastor Alan Knoke officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 AM on Friday at the funeral home with a Masonic service beginning at 10:45 AM.
