Una Rae Sweeney

Una Rae Sweeney, age 90, of Centerville, OH passed away on May 4, 2026 at the Bethany Village. She was born on December 11, 1935 in Liberty, KY to the late Arnold and Flossie (Moore) Sweeney.

She is survived by her sisters-in-law: Joyce Sweeney of Columbia, SC, Mary Sweeney of Troy; five nieces and nephews: Laura Sweeney Cevallos, Craig Sweeney, Christopher Sweeney, Angela Sweeney and Lynn Sweeney Mathias; several great nieces and nephews; and cousins: Norma and Susan Keith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Darrell and Ronald Sweeney.

Una was a 1954 graduate of Milton Union High School. She retired from Standard Register Company.

Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at the Baird Funeral Home with interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
