Sherry Marlene Wray

Sherry Marlene Wray, age 81, of Troy, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at StoryPoint of Troy. She was born on December 28, 1944, in Greenville to the late Gerald and Cora May (Wood) Passon.

Sherry is survived by her husband of 62 years: Donald E. Wray; three children: Tina (Mark) Holland of Maineville; David (Nakia) Wray of Bethel and Lance (Marcia) Wray of Fairfield; six grandchildren: Alexa and Gabrielle Holland, Korina Wray, Kaylee Wray, and Peyton and Sam Wray. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings: Sally Thompson, Gerald (Alberta) Passon, Jr. and William (Terry) Passon.

Sherry was a 1962 graduate of Tippecanoe High School. She was a member of First United Church of Christ in Troy. Sherry enjoyed genealogy and was the family historian. She retired from Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy where she worked in administration.

For Sherry, her family was everything and she took great interest and pride in all of the many activities of her children.

Service will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Baird Funeral Home in Troy. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Family will receive friends from 11:00AM-1:00PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
