Scott Carroll Wintrow

Scott Carroll Wintrow, age 71, of Tipp City, OH passed away on July 29, 2026 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. He was born on June 1, 1955 in Troy, OH to the late William Richard and Lillian Carroll (McCready) Wintrow.

Scott is survived by his wife of 52 years, Deby J. (Kadel) Wintrow; sons: Christopher S. (Nora) Wintrow of Marrietta, GA and James Caleb (Alicia) Wintrow of Brookville, OH; siblings: Linda (Steve) Erickson of Conway AR; and Rick Wintrow of Port Richie, FL; and grandchildren: Jackson, Logan and Cora. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Wintrow.

Scott, also known to his grandchildren as “Poppy”, loved spending time with his grandchildren and grand dogs. Scott was a Vice President of Research & Development at Rally’s Hamburgers. He later was an owner and driver of several routes for FEDEX. His retirement job was at area service stations, with his last stop at Circle K.

Services will be Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at 11AM at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH. Visitation will be at 10AM prior to the service. Internment to follow at Miami Memorial Park, Covington.
