Scott Allen Thuma

Scott Allen Thuma, age 60, of Springfield, OH passed away on February 3, 2026 at Urbana Mercy Health. He was born on September 23, 1965 to Carolyn A. (Thompson) Thuma and the late Roy H. Thuma, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 10 years: Kelly Renee (Brown) Thuma; son: Nathan Allen Thuma of Xenia; brother (broheim) Todd Thuma of Troy; grandson: Trenton Thuma, stepdaughter: Melanie (Andy) Grimm, stepson: Zachory (Brittney) Crain and step grandchildren: Dominic, Lucas and Charlotte. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son: Ryan Thuma.

Scott was a 1983 graduate of Troy High School and specialized in graphic arts. He was employed at Konecranes in Springfield, OH. Scott was a passionate music enthusiast and enjoyed traveling to see live music. He wrote songs and played guitar in his free time. He loved to roller skate at Skateworld of Vandalia and was competitive at playing chess and cards with his family and loved gardening. Scott lit up any room he was ever in and was a kind, loving soul, a friend to all that knew him and an amazing loving father.

An open visitation Celebration of Life will be held for all from 2pm to 3pm on February 16th at Baird Funeral Home. A private service will be held at 3pm.
