Ronald Stephen Craft, Jr., age 48, of Piqua, OH passed away on February 12, 2026 at his residence. He was born on May 5, 1977 in St. Marys, OH to Ronald Sr. and Margene (Clementz) Craft.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Kelly R. (Klingler) Craft; five children: Laura Craft, Brooke Craft, Nate Craft, Alea and Isaac; siblings: Jenna (Craig) Braun, Amy (Kevin) Wrasman and Jon Craft; nieces and nephews: Alyssa, Abby and Audrey Wrasman, and Hailey Braun; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Keith and Eileen Klingler; bonus family: Myron and Shirley; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law: Michael and Pam Klingler and Steve Guthrie. He is joining his sister-in-law, Shelly Guthrie, in Heaven. Ron is also survived by a large extended family and friends.
Ron was a 1995 graduate of St. Marys High School and a 1999 graduate of Wright State University. He enjoyed his career working with technology, problem solving, and becoming friends with his coworkers. His favorite thing to do was to spend time with his soul mate, Kelly, and their kids. Ron also enjoyed running with friends and family, mountain biking, hiking, working on projects in the barn, and traveling. He was always up for a challenge and an adventure. His kind heart, loving smile, and infectious laugh led to Ron touching the lives of everyone he met. He truly appreciated the little things in life: especially spending time with family and friends, playing board games, praying at the cross, and getting ice cream. He loved great conversations on long drives, relaxing walks, or the porch swing. Ron was most passionate about telling anyone he met about our loving God.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Memorial contributions may be made to Girls on the Run, Hospice of Miami County, K-LOVE, or Air1 Radio.
