Penelope Marie DePhillip

Penelope Marie DePhillip, age 59, of Troy, passed away on July 5, 2026, at her residence. She was born on October 15, 1966, in Rochester, NY, to Louis A. DePhillip of Tipp City, OH and the late Joan Joyce (Potempa) DePhillip.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law: Ken and Julie DePhillip of Enon; and niece: Kimberly (Fiancé, Casey Sparks) DePhillip of Springfield. In addition to her mother, Penelope was preceded in death by her nephew: Kenny DePhillip.

She was a 1984 graduate of Wayne High School in Huber Heights, OH, and a 1988 graduate of Wright State University in Dayton. She was employed by Golden Corral on Miller Lane in Dayton. She enjoyed scuba diving and was an active member of SODA (Southern Ohio Diving Academy).

Visitation will be held on July 30, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Baird Funeral Home in Troy, with a Prayer Service to conclude the visitation.
