Linda Lee Sherer

Linda Lee Sherer, age 81, of Troy, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at her residence. She was born on April 26, 1944, in Marion, Ohio, to the late James E. and Arline G. (Branch) Gregory.

Linda is survived by her husband: Wilfred Richard Sherer; three daughters: Andrea (Eric) Clark of Marion, Angela (Steve) Carver of Lima, and Alisa (Tony) Weber of Pleasant Hill; seven grandchildren: Seth, Megan, Katie, Adam, Joey, Will and Olivia; and two great grandchildren: Josiah and Ja’el. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by two siblings: Eddie Gregory and Louise Tong.

Linda attended The Ohio State University. She was a member of Troy Christian Church. Linda’s first job was as a secretary at Tecumseh Industries in Marion, then she became a Keypunch Operator with Whirlpool, also in Marion. Later, she was the secretary for the Dean of Chemistry at Tri-State College and then became a Mom. Finally, she was a Longaberger Consultant for 25 years.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
