Kevin Harnish

Kevin Harnish, age 47, of Troy, OH passed away unexpectedly on August 13, 2026 at Kettering Health Troy. He was born on September 15, 1978 in Troy, OH to Richard “Butch” and Cassie (Brandon) Harnish.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 24 years: Nikole (Metro) Harnish; his children: Libby (Austin) Johnson, Leah Harnish, Luke Harnish and Lavy Harnish; grandchildren: Evelyn and Henry Johnson; brother: Eric Harnish and sisters-in-law Kelly (Tim) Hellman and Laura (Metro) Reed and his nephews and niece along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. As well as his grandmother, Marcia Kendrick.

Kevin was a 1997 graduate of Troy High School and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Tiffin University. He was employed with Precision Aero as General Manager. Most important to Kevin was time spent with family and sitting around the fire smoking a good cigar. Family was his whole purpose in life. He lived for his wife and children.

No services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice of charity.
