Judy Gail Gross

Judy Gail Gross, age 79, of Casstown, OH passed away on July 25, 2026 at the Upper Valley Medical Center. She was born on July 18, 1947 in Troy, OH to the late Wilmer Arlon and Betty Elaine (Hirsch) Deeter.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years of marriage: Albert Arthur Gross; sons and daughters-in-law: Douglas C. (Carla) Gross of Pleasant Hill, Anthony J. (Lori) Gross of Conover, Matthew D. (Amanda) Gross of Casstown and Brian J. Gross of Casstown; ten grandchildren: Ashton Grube of Piqua, Derek (Rikki) Gross of Troy,

Alyssa Gross of Mason, Hailey Gross of Pleasant Hill, Emily Gross of Dayton, Whitley (Jayden) McFarland of Troy, Jenna Gross of Conover, Cadence Gross of Casstown, Grayson Jacobe of Dayton and Maryn Gross of Casstown; three great grandchildren: Alaina, Theia and Wrenley; one sister and brother-in-law: Lori (Kevin) Pyers of Troy and sister-in-law: Linda Deeter of Troy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: Philip Deeter.

She was a graduate of Miami East High School and Mercy School of Nursing in Hamilton. She was a Registered Nurse for 58 years and served as a skilled care facilities consultant for LBK Health Care for 45 years.

She was a past member of the Board of Directors for the Ohio Health Care Association, past member of Casstown Lutheran Church and a Lifetime member of the AmVets Auxiliary. She enjoyed knitting, reading, Ohio State football and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 4:00 PM 7:00 PM on Saturday.
