Jerry L. Snyder

Jerry L. Snyder, age 87, of Troy, OH passed away on July 28, 2026 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. He was born on March 17, 1939 in Union City, IN to the late Clarence and Isabelle (Gross) Snyder.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 67 years Marlene (Rue) Snyder; sons and daughter-in-law: Rex Snyder, Kent (Judy) Snyder, Terry Snyder; daughter and son-in-law: Tina (Steve) Beck all of Troy; three grandchildren: Jenny, Emily, and Nina; great grandchildren: Xavier, Ezra, Brian, Bentley and Dean; brother: George Snyder of Lebanon; sister and brother-in-law: Mary (Bruce) Emerick of Troy; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Kermit (Suzi) Rue of Troy, Larry (Myrna) Rue of Versailles and Lois Rue of Fletcher; and lots of nephews and nieces.

Jerry was a member of the Troy Fish and Game. He owned Jerry L. Snyder construction, was previously a truck driver and retired from Troy Lumber Co.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Saturday August 15, 2026 at Honey Creek Cemetery in Christiansburg.
