Gerald "Jerry" Neil Boggess

Gerald “Jerry” Neil Boggess, age 73, of Jackson, OH passed away on September 29, 2026 at Troy Rehab and Care. He was born on September 6, 1953 in Chillicothe, OH to the late Roger Neil and Janet D. (Hertenstein) Boggess.

Jerry is survived by his sisters: Jacquelyn “Jackie” D. Taylor of Cape Coral, FL and Cynthia “Cindy” K. (Greg) Weaver of Troy, OH; grandchildren: Ellie Parker, Jaylee Parker and Jayden Parker; nephews: Nathan Wackler, Jaiman Wackler, and Aaron Weaver; spouse: Christine Boggess; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He will also be missed by his BGSU Alumni classmates.

Jerry was a 1971 graduate of Covington High School. He then went on to graduate from BGSU in 1976 with a bachelor’s in business administration. He was the former owner of R & J Dairy Foods in Jackson County after his dad retired. Jerry was also an avid fisherman and hunter.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
