Everett Jan Wilson

Dr. Everett Jan “E.J.” Wilson, age 78, of Troy, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born on May 10, 1947, in Parkersburg, West Virginia to the late Dr. Everett E. and Hazel E. (Moyer) Wilson.

Everett is survived by his wife of over 60 years: Eileen (Martin) Wilson; three children: Richard M. Wilson, Erich A. Wilson and Peter M. Wilson; one sister: Laura Shearer; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Everett was preceded in death by his son: Brian Jan Wilson; and one sister: Linda.

Everett was a member of the Piqua Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints. He was an Ophthalmic Surgeon and a Family Doctor. Everett also had a PHD in Hebrew and Cognate Studies.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Piqua Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints, 475 W. Loy Rd., Piqua, OH. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery, Brookville. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church.
