Elaine Thompson Boyer

Elaine Thompson Boyer, age 85, of Troy, Ohio passed away on June 30, 2026 at her residence with family around her. She was born on November 3, 1940 in Pleasant Hill, Ohio to the late Orla R. and Etoile (Robbins) Thompson.

She is survived by her daughter: Janelle Boyer Mattie of Dayton, four grandchildren: Amanda Dillon, Heather Boyer, Kenny Boyer and Joshua Boyer; three great grandchildren: Burkley, Leighton and Collyer and many nieces and nephews including Dawn Gasper and Belinda Hall.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years: Willis M. Boyer; son: Craig G. Boyer; son-in-law: Mike Mattie; brothers: Kenneth and Richard Thompson; sisters: Shirley Peck and Patricia Rife; nephews: Randy and Rick Peck and niece: Carla (Peck) Wintrow Biles.

She was a graduate of 1958 Troy High School. She was employed with Hobart Brothers Company and the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio. She enjoyed reading, flower gardening, spending time with her grandchildren and being a second Mom to many of her daughter’s friends.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on July 13, 2026 at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Tipp City, Ohio.
