Duane E. Polley

Duane E. Polley, age 69, passed away unexpectedly on August 22, 2026 at his residence. He was born on April 17, 1957 in Maysville, KY to the late Frealyn and Norma (Dillon) Polley.

He is survived by his siblings: Carmelia (Nick) Fox of Casstown, Elaine (Bill) Rumpler of Hamilton, Wendell (Donna) Polley of Louisville, KY, and Dennis (Jackie) Polley of Tipp City, OH; brother-in-law: John Kline of Frankfurt, KY; former spouse: Carla Polley of Piqua, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Sharon Polley and Barbara Kline; and infant brother: Frealyn Polley, Jr.

He was a 1975 graduate of Miami East High School and a graduate of Edison State Community College with degrees in Business System Management and Computer Programming. He retired from Friendly Ice Cream Corp. after 20 years of service. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, reading the Bible, nature and walking. Since playing football himself, he became an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns, and The Ohio State Buckeyes.

As a family, there are so many memory’s. His warm smile, his kind heart that was always there to help. We will miss you forever, little brother. Until we meet again…❤

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on September 2, 2026 at Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
