Donald L. Baker, age 87, passed away on August 26, 2026, at his residence. He was born on August 17, 1939 in Troy, OH to the late Robert “Bob” and Mildred (Sturgeon) Baker.
Donald is survived by his wife of 48 years: Charlie Sue (Clark) Baker; three children: Kristina Baker, Felicia (Amanda) Sullivan and Vanessa Baker; brother: Denny (Carol) Baker and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his children: Debbie Baker, Jamie Baker, Wayne Sullivan, Gina Baker and Michael Sullivan; grandchildren: Brandon Sullivan and Frankie Baker; three brothers and one sister.
Donald was a 1958 graduate of Covington High School, where he ran track and his nick name was “Lighting Baker”. He was active in the Baptist faith and truly loved his wife “Fuzzy Bear” and family. He worked in maintenance at BF Goodrich and retired from Trimble Corporation. He was a great Walmart greeter. He liked racoons. And giving us all a hard time, in funny ways that would get us going and love him at the same time. And we can’t say it enough - He Loved His Wife.
