David Todd Schaefer

David Todd Schaefer, age 60, of Troy, OH passed away on September 4, 2026 at Hospice of Miami County in Troy. He was born on February 21, 1966 in Troy to Faith Ann (Hunt) Schaefer and the late Eldon Ray “Foot” Schaefer.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother and sister-in-law: Thomas and Robin Schaefer of Rosenberg, TX, nephew: Andrew Schaefer and aunts, uncles and cousins.

David was a 1984 graduate of Troy High School and the Upper Valley Joint Vocational School. He served his country in the US Navy for ten years aboard the USS Carl Vinson and USS Nimitz. After the military, he was employed as a truck driver.

Graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Miami Memorial Park, Covington.
