Carolyn E. Ross

Carolyn E. Ross, age 85, of Upper Arlington, OH; former longtime resident of San Francisco, CA, passed away on October 15, 2026. She was born on June 5, 1941 in Troy to the late Forrest and Dorothy (Strine) Ross.

She is survived by her brother-in-law: Gary Lickfelt and nephews and niece: Andrew Lickfelt, Matthew Lickfelt, Bryan May and Lisa Ganka. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters: Elizabeth (Betty) May, Claudia Lickfelt and Charlotte Elaine Ross and brother-in-law: Robert May.

Carolyn was a 1959 graduate of Troy High School and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Home Economics from The Ohio State University. She was briefly employed as a teacher and then went on to a longterm career in banking with Bank of America.

She was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church in San Francisco. She was a hospital volunteer and enjoyed painting and collecting art.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Private internment in Riverside Cemetery.
