Jeanne Rachael Potter

Jeanne Rachael Potter, age 77, of Troy passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio.  She was born on May 3, 1940 in Fairborn, Ohio to Hershel Lovejoy and Juanita (Payton) Lovejoy Baker.

Jeanne is survived by 4 children: Laurie (Greg) Meyer McClain of Piqua; Cindy Miller of Troy, Melvin (Lori) Potter of Versailles; and Kelly (Mike) McGraw of New Weston; 2 brothers: David (Lucille) Lovejoy of Kentucky and Jack (Juanita) Lovejoy of Texas; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents; daughter: Saundra Potter and sister: Janey Myers.

Jeanne attended Bethel Schools.  She retired in 2005.  She was a devout Christian, enjoyed reading her bible and supporting many organization including St. Jude’s.

Services will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH.  Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Troy.  The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00PM on Tuesday at Baird Funeral Home.
