JAMES BOYD IDDINGS

James Boyd Iddings, age 71, of Troy, OH passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at his residence.  He was born on November 14, 1944 in Miami County to the late Boyd and Muriel (Davis) Iddings.  Jim was married to his first wife: Cynthia Elizabeth (Titus) Iddings and she preceded him in death on August 16, 1995.

Jim is survived by his wife of 16 years, Victoria “Vicki” L. (DeMoss) Iddings; his children:  Kevin and Karie Iddings of Loveland, OH; Daniel and Emily Iddings of St. Joseph, MI and Jennifer and Matt Voisard of Yorkshire, OH; stepson: Daniel and Heekyoung Hansford of Holloman, NM; sister: Rebecca and Richard Johnston of Englewood, OH; grandchildren: Peyton and Jaden Voisard; Luke, Brady and Leo Iddings; and step grandchildren:  Gavin Giles and Leah Hansford.  In addition to his parents and first wife, Jim was preceded in death by his granddaughter: Alyshia Roberts and stepson: David Hansford.

Jim was a graduate of Milton Union High School and studied at Sinclair College.  He proudly served his country as a member of the US Army during the Vietnam War.  He was a member of FOE Post 971, VFW Post 5436 and American Legion Post 43, all in Troy.  Jim was formerly employed by Hobart Brothers Company in Troy.  He loved flowers and gardening.

Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy with the Chaplain Ed Ellis officiating.  Interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, OH with Honor Guard Services.  The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Monday at the funeral home.  A FOE Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
