A SPATHIPHYLLUM was sent on August 27, 2016

A very special person who made a difference in the many lives she touched.

I appreciate Jackie for her positive attitude. Whether she was carrying on a conversation about the weather or important social issues; encouraging others about problems in their lives; discussing her health; she always brought a helpful tone that was optimistic and often lighthearted. She showed compassion even to people who seem not to deserve it. She was a guiding light in our search to bring freedom to all.

Anita and Nate, I am very sorry for your loss. Anyone who knew Jackie will feel a loss. She had a smile and laughter that could light up a room. Jackie always knew when to call me and she brighten my day. Nate, you know how remarkable your Mom was. Anita, you know how amazing your Spouse was. And me, I know how special Jackie was.

I am so saddened to learn of Jackie's passing and have been thinking of you and your family often over the past several weeks. I can only hope that as each hour, day, and week goes by the shock and pain of the loss of Jackie eases. Anita, you and your family continue to be in my thoughts and weigh heavily on my heart. Peace be with you and yours.

It is with a thankful heart that I remember Jackie. Her smile, her love for her family and friends, her love of life. May you, her family and all those who have been touched by her presence always be blessed with a smile when you think of her. Even though her days were a challenge, she moved through them with determination and loving giving. Jack and I are grateful for the gift of knowing and loving Jackie.

Dearest Jackie, your soul is free and I have every belief you are continuing to love and heal as you did so earnestly while you were on the earth. Thank you, beautiful soul! You and Anita inspired me and modeled a beautiful, loving partnership... thank you so much to both of you for your sincere support of my own relationship and marriage. Love you two always. Anita, I am holding you in my hugs from afar until I can hug you in person. May you ever feel Jackie's love present with you.

The death of Mrs. Jacquelyn J. Henckle is one of the most devastating experiences your family can face. At times, the loss may seem unbearable. Please know that there are those who care and more importantly Psalm 34:18 tells us that "God is near to those that are broken at heart. He is the God of all comfort. My prayers are with you and your family.

Jackie was a wonderful, loving, and caring. She loved Anita with all her heart and being. She was a soulful and heartfelt presence in our lives. To her being, to her existence, she gave equal time to both her head and her heart. This rendered to the world and to our amazement and joy, her gentle (most of the time) and equally fierce feminism. I loved her face's consternation when dealing with some dim-witted misogynist's expressing things like "that's just like a girl" or "she needs to man up to the problem" or will you (Jackie) "man a booth" at the event? She would begin the lesson with: "Oh really?" Instead of 6*!+ you! But she would let you know, that is not how we speak to or of womyn and she would proceed to enlighten the person and the masses if necessary. Go Jackie go - we are sad to see you go but are enriched by your memory. Anita: you were Jackie's rock - always steady, forever loving. My sincere condolences - John Z
