Vivian Marie (Frantom) Welbaum, age 92, of Troy, OH passed away on January 6, 2021 at home. She was born on December 15, 1928 in Troy, OH to the late Ralph and Mearle (Rhynard) Frantom.
She is survived by her children: Terry Snook; Daniel (Carolyn) Welbaum; Guy Welbaum; and Lisa (Mike) Oldham, all of Troy; brothers: Albert (Mary) Frantom of Tipp City and Frank (Janet) Frantom of Patriot, OH; nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Philip D. Welbaum; son-in-law: Jim Snook; grandson: Kevin Snook; and eight siblings: Bob, Betty Jean, Wilbur, Doug, Marvin, Sarah, Mary Louise and Thelma.
Vivian was a graduate of Elizabeth School where she was salutatorian of her class. She survived the depression and was very frugal. Vivian was a dedicated homemaker, mother and Christian example . She was a great seamstress and made the best pies in the area. She always went above and beyond.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM on January 30, 2021 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH. The family will receive friends from 1:30-2PM prior to the service.
