Veronica "Meme" G. Miller

Veronica “Meme” G. Miller, age 80, of Troy, OH passed away at her home on October 7, 2023.  She was born on October 18, 1942 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Vestle “Red” and Veda Lou (Clouse) Sewell.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years: William G. Miller; her children: Robin M. (Missy) Gates of Hamilton, Tami L. (Jeff) Ryan of Troy, Brian Dickerson of Troy; stepchildren: Joni (Todd) Carpenter of Maryland and Connie (Dave) Rudy of Ft. Loramie; grandchildren: Morgan Neal, Audrey (Kaleb) Ziesemer, Kayla Dickerson, Carrie Dickerson and Wesley Gates; four step grandchildren; one great grandchild: Nolan Matthew Ziesemer; six step great grandchildren; siblings: Cheryl (Jim) Weber of Tipp City, Gary (Marilyn) Sewell of Woodstock, GA, Rodney (Jay) Sewell of Newark and Genoa (Alex) Lobeto of Bradenton, FL and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepson: Scott Miller and sister: Caron Derr.

She formerly attended First Baptist Church and Ginghamsburg Church with her family.  She retired from Miami Industries in Piqua.  She was active in Newborns in Need and the Ohio Papillon and Pomeranian Rescue.  She was an avid dog lover. She was also a gifted artist and enjoyed crafting, sewing and photography. 

Services will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00AM-1:00PM on Wednesday.
