Tyler W. Foster, age 39, of Troy, OH passed away on September 8, 2022 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Facility in Troy. He was born on May 27, 1983 in Springfield, OH to Lee E. Foster and Dawn E. (Wilson) Foster both of Springfield.
In addition to his parents, Tyler is survived by his wife of nine years: Erin (Kister) Foster; his two children: Flynn and Brie Foster both at home; brother: Ryan (Lauren) Foster of Troy; sister: Brittany (Jeff) Adams of Urbana; mother-in-law: Jane (Scott Aultman) Kister of Troy; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Amy and Andy Voisard of Centerville and Ellen Aultman of Mason; nieces and nephews: Alec, Collier, and Olivia Foster; Maverick, Andie, Grant, Nash and Austen Adams and Rachel and Gretchen Voisard; special cousins and numerous friends and employees. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and father-in-law: Craig Kister.
Tyler was a 2002 graduate of Northwestern High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Wright State University. He co-owned and operated the Foster Equipment Sales LLC in Springfield and was co-owner of IME – Integrated Mechanical Electrical in West Liberty.
Tyler was an active cyclist and a member of the TMBA in Troy. He was an Ironman Triathlon athlete and marathoner. He was an avid reader, photographer and videographer. He was a member of Halo Elite and had a passion for all things digital. He was one who brought everyone else’s creative ideas to life. Most especially, he was a devoted husband, father, son and brother and was well loved by his family and all who knew him.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00PM on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at the First United Methodist Church, 110 West Franklin Street, Troy, OH. A private interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
