Trevor David Wright

August 8, 1991 ~ April 20, 2022 (age 30)


Trevor David Wright, 30, formerly of Troy and more recently of Beavercreek, OH passed away on April 20, 2022 at his residence. He was born on August 8, 1991 in Richmond, IN to Gregory David and Shayna (Porter) Wright of Wake Forest, NC.

In addition to his parents, Trevor is survived by his younger sister: Danielle Nicole Wright of Washington DC; maternal grandmother: Vona Porter of Vandalia, OH; and paternal grandmother: Ruth Wright of Sebring FL; aunts: Annette Porter and Linda Porter; uncles Jeff Porter, Scott Porter, Ed Wright, Charles Wright, and Roger Wright; his devoted dog Eve; and a host of beloved cousins and friends, including best friend Drew Hargrove. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: Ned Porter and paternal grandfather: Gene Wright.

Trevor was a 2010 graduate of Troy High School and a 2014 graduate of The University of Dayton. He was employed by Infoscitex Corporation in Beavercreek, OH. Trevor was an avid Ohio sports fan, including his beloved Cincinnati Bengals and Reds, and UD Flyers. He loved animals, his family, and his friends. He lost his hard-fought battle with mental health. Trevor’s infectious smile and kind soul will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00pm on Saturday April 30, 2022 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy, OH. Casual attire, as Trevor was a jeans and t-shirt kind of guy. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to National Alliance on Mental Illness or an animal rescue of your choice.
