Susan A. (Haines) Williamson

Susan A. (Haines) Williamson, age 64, of Troy, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy.  She was born on October 30, 1958 in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada, to the late John Thomas and Jane L. (Drake) Haines.        

Susan is survived by fiancé: Charles Larry Ashmore; three children: Erica Lynn Anderson of Versailles, Joseph Ryan (Kylee) Williamson of Piqua and Michelle Alice Yaney-Centliver of Troy; three siblings: Stephen Haines and Sharry Haines Knight, both of Troy, and Sarah Haines-Sebring of Sidney; nine grandchildren: Dane Centliver of Piqua, Isaac Centliver of Troy, Cameron Wiley of Piqua, Matthew Martin of TX, Averi Wiley of Piqua, Cayden Atkins of Troy, Kallie Anderson of Piqua, Ainslie Williamson of Piqua and Bennett Williamson of Piqua; and three great grandchildren: Kaliah, Ella and Kentrell. 

Susan loved crafts and caring for her family.  She was a seamstress.  Susan worked for Troy Surgeons for several years.  She also worked as a 911 dispatcher and in general bookkeeping and banking with several area institutions.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, May 22, 2023, at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.  Burial will be held at a later date in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  Family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
