Steven H. Friend

Steven H. Friend, age 66, of Troy, OH passed away on September 8, 2021 at SpringMeade Health Care Center.  He was born on February 6, 1955 in Troy, OH to the late Harold and Sue Ann (Barger) Friend.  He was married to Carol Jean (Cool) Friend and she preceded him in death on July 5, 2012.

Steve is survived by his brothers and sister-in-law: D. Douglas and Rebecca Friend of Troy and Brian E. Friend of Sidney; sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Neta and Randy Noll of Troy; nieces and nephews: Derrick Friend; Korry Friend; Christina (Chris) Turley and Matthew (Lindsey) Noll.

Steve was a 1973 graduate of Troy High School and a 1977 graduate of University of Tennessee with a degree in forestry.  He retired from Palmer-Donavin as an outside salesperson.  Steve enjoyed golfing and following the Blue Jackets hockey, Cleveland Browns football and Cincinnati Reds baseball.

A Private Family Graveside will be held in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, OH.  Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio Living Dorothy Love Life Care Fund, 3003 West Cisco Road, Sidney, OH 45365 or Donor’s Choice of Charity.
