Steven M. Ferguson

Steven M. Ferguson, age 45, of Columbus, formerly of Troy, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at his residence following a brief illness.  He was born on February 4, 1978, in Troy, to Ronald “Ron” and Jeanette (Britton) Ferguson.

In addition to his parents, Steven is survived by his sister: Deena (Patrick) Turnbull of Troy; three nieces: Caroline Turnbull, Evelynn Turnbull and Gwendolyn Turnbull; aunts and uncle: Beverly and Ray Doucett of Montana, and Selma Britton Cochran of Dayton; four cousins: Brent Doucett, Bret Doucett, Bonnie Doucett and Jerome (Penelope) Britton; and very best friend: Andre Dailey.  He was preceded in death by his partner in life: John Brumfield.

Steven was a 1996 graduate of Troy High School.  He received a certificate after two years at Edison State Community College.  Steven was an Assistant Technology Manager at Scene 75 Entertainment Center in Columbus, OH.  He liked to golf and loved rehoming and taking care of homeless cats.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00PM on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy.
