Stephen A. Marcum

Stephen A. Marcum, age 57, of Tipp City, OH passed away on January 15, 2022 at Kettering Medical Center.  He was born on June 10, 1964 in Ft. Benning, GA to Claudia (Linkous) Marcum of Troy and the late Steven E. Marcum.

Steve is survived by his wife of 26 years of marriage: Rebel S. (Geuy) Marcum; his three children:  Jesse (Amanda) Clark of Troy; Ben (Kiley) Marcum of Xenia and Sammi Marcum of Piqua and one brother:  Brad Marcum of Chapel Hill, NC.

Steve graduated from Hillsboro High School and furthered his studies at Wright State University and received his certificate in theology from Moody Bible Institute.  He was honored to serve as Senior Pastor of Alcony Grace Church for 21 years and was currently employed with the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce for the past 12 years.

You could find Steve reading a comic book or his Bible, or out fishing.  He could play any instrument he picked up as music was an important part of the family.

Services will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy with interment to follow in Fletcher Cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00AM - 2:00PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
