Sharon Arlene (Wolfe) Becker

Sharon Arlene (Wolfe) Becker (79) passed away May 29, 2023 at Miami Valley Hospital.  

Born November 10, 1943 in Piqua, Ohio, Sharon was the daughter of the late Edward and Naomi Wolfe. Sharon is survived by her sister-in-law Judy Wolfe, sister-in-law Darlene [Nick] Mott, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Sharon was also preceded in death by her husband Dennis and her brother Carlos Wolfe.

Sharon graduated from Troy High School in 1961. She will be remembered for her sweet smile and cheerful attitude.        

Sharon worked at the Miami County Welfare Dept. Then she served as Secretary to Troy City School Superintendents over a period of 36 years.

Sharon enjoyed sewing, playing her accordion, traveling with family and friends and later spending time with her Brookdale companion, Maggie, her cat.

Celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Baird Funeral Home, 555 N. Market Street, Troy, Ohio with Pastor Jon Keller of the Troy Church of the Brethren officiating.  Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to: Troy Church of the Brethren, 1431 W.
