Rose Winger

Rose Winger, age 84, of Troy, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit.  She was born in Dayton, Ohio on June 22, 1935 to the late William and Rebecca (Sidenstick) Shade.

Rose is survived by her husband of 30 years: Robert Winger; children: Karen Wyrick of Troy and Kenny Wyrick of Casstown; 2 grandchildren: Kenya Blair and Ashley Zimorski; and 4 great-grandchildren: Sophie, Bella, Mason and Haven. 

In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by daughter: Vickie Wyrick; 2 brothers: William and Chester Shade; and 2 sisters: Irene King and Jenny “Louise” Henn.

Rose was a member of the American Legion in Tipp City.  She liked to crochet, sew, cook and bake cookies.

Service will be at 7PM on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Interment will take place at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.  Friends may call on the family from 5-7PM, Thursday, January 23, 2020 at the funeral home.
