Richard J. Shoe

Richard J. Shoe, age 77, of Troy, OH passed away on November 23, 2021 at the Upper Valley Medical Center.  He was born on September 3, 1944 in Sidney, OH to the late Edward C. and Bessie V. (Gates) Shoe.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years: Nina L. (Stone) Shoe; children: Rebecca Shoe of Piqua; Teresa Farrar of Phil Campbell, AL, Lisa (Phillip) Lucas of Phil Campbell AL and Dempsey Dale Baker of Sidney; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter: Kathy J. Ganger; brothers: Edward, Ray, Bob and Harley and sisters: Dorothy, Mary and Gladys.

He was a member of The Sanctuary Church in Piqua.  He loved the Steelers and the Ohio State Buckeyes.  He also loved to shop and cook.

Services will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, November 29, 2021 at The Sanctuary in Piqua with Rev. Gary Wagner officiating.  Interment will follow in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown.  The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00PM on Monday at the church.
