Raymond E. "Snoz" Guillozet

Raymond E. “Snoz” Guillozet, age 83, of Troy, OH passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. He was born on July 30, 1939 in Russia, OH to the late Jonas E. and Leora E. (Monnier) Guillozet.

On June 4, 1960, Ray married Margaret (Gigandet) Guillozet, and she survives after more than 62 years. Ray is also survived by his children: Mark Guillozet of Melbourne, FL, Mary (Tim) Hormann of Sidney, Anne (Jeff) Smith of Northfield, Ed (Michelle) Guillozet of Troy, Lori (Mike Jordan) of Troy, and Leon “Lee” (Tammy) Guillozet of Troy; 9 grandchildren: Aaron, Brandon, Marina, Lyndsey, Justin, Brooke, Blake, Jordan and Jason; and 4 great grandchildren: Kennedy, Owen, Noah and Graham. In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his siblings: Mary (Harold) Bey, Loretta Grump, Francis Guillozet, Manetta (Sylvester) Frilling, Eugene (Jeanie) Guillozet, Charlene (Roger) Weaver, Tom Guillozet, Patricia Guillozet, and Ken Guillozet; and daughter: Julie Guillozet Raymond.

Ray was a graduate of Russia High School. He proudly served in the US Army Reserves. Ray dedicated 30 years at Inland GMC.  He was member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Troy, Knights of Columbus, Troy Eagles, Troy Fish and Game and Troy American Legion Post 43. He was an avid fan of the Reds, Bengals and OSU Buckeyes. Ray volunteered at Upper Valley Medical Center and the Veterans Elite Honor Squad.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, OH with Fr. Steve Shoup as Celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Remy’s Cemetery, Russia, OH. Visitation will be held from 3:00-6:00 PM on Tuesday at Baird Funeral Home.
