Patrick Shane Smith

Patrick Shane Smith, age 49, of Troy, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at his residence.  He was born on January 19, 1973, in Troy, to the late John A. and Rita F. (Shane) Smith.

Patrick is survived by two sisters: Cassandra L. Smith and Teresa L. (P. Jason) Bramlette; nieces and nephews: Jessica L. Alfred, Victoria L. Creasy, Leanne N. Creasy, Zachary S. (Kaley) Creasy, Jonathan M. Bramlette and J. Dillon Bramlette; grand nieces and nephews; and many friends.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Andrea L. Creasy.

Patrick was a 1991 graduate of Miami East High School and Montgomery County JVS.  He proudly served his country as a member of the US Marine Corp, serving in both Somalia and Okinawa.  Patrick was an enthusiastic biker and enjoyed playing bass with his band, Boondah.  He was an avid Lego collector and constructor.  Patrick had a very creative mind and was always putting it into action.  He was a great storyteller and had a colorful personality and loved sharing it with his nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.  Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery in Covington.  Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
