Miriam A. Ratliff

Miriam A. Ratliff, age 74, of Troy, OH passed away on Monday, June 22, 2020 at the Troy Care Center.  She was born on September 8, 1945 in Troy, OH to Marion Paul and Gladys Marie (Burlile) Nuss.  She was married to James W. Ratliff for nearly 50 years and he preceded her in death on April 30, 2013.

Miriam is survived by daughter: Raegan Ratliff of Troy and son: Thaniel J. Ratliff of Dayton and brother: Andrew Nuss of Troy.  In addition to her parents and her husband, Miriam was preceded in death by her foster parents: Harold and Arlena Graves and her sister: Yvonne Ferris.

Miriam was a graduate of Miami East High School and attended The Ohio State University.  She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.  She was also a member and active volunteer with Tipp City Church of the Nazarene where she had served as church secretary and greeter and active in the Prayer Shawl and Women’s Ministries.  Miriam retired from Spinnaker Coatings (formerly Kimberly-Clark).

Services will be held at 12:00PM on Friday, June 26, 2020 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy OH with Pastor Brian Reinicke officiating.  Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, OH.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00AM-12:00PM on Friday at the funeral home.
