Marvin Eugene Lamka

Marvin Eugene Lamka, age 83, of Troy, OH passed away on August 18, 2023 at Koester Pavilion.  He was born on July 10, 1940 in Miami County, OH to the late Carl Albert and Margaret Leona (Luttrell) Lamka.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his half sisters: Letha Lamka and Elma Brown.

Marvin served his country in the US Army.  In former years, he loved working on model trains and being involved with square dancing.  More recently, he enjoyed being a part of the Miami County dog agility classes at the fairgrounds. He always enjoyed his visits with neighbors at Morris House and friends at K’s, Loretta’s and Troy Senior Citizens Center.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, OH.  Contributions may be made in Marvin’s memory to Troy Senior Citizens Center.
