Mariagnes was a member of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Tipp City. She solely owned and operated apartments and raised her son following the unexpected death of her first husband during WWII. She attended the Dayton School of Art and Design and was very talented. She enjoyed painting, sewing, knitting and needle crafting. Her quick witted humor, smile and laugh will be missed but not forgotten. Her positive outlook on life was infectious and touched many lives. Friday visits with her niece Beth Ann Miller was something she looked forward to.
The family would like to thank the staff at SpringMeade for taking care of our Auntie for the past 6 years. Thank you to the STNAs who always made sure mother had her scarf in her hair, lipstick on and nails painted. Giving her (and receiving) back scratches, which was her favorite. The entire nursing staff that made her feel loved and that did not go unnoticed. A special thank you to Miki Faber who always made sure every detail of her care was addressed. Missed but not forgotten. Mother, mother . . .
A Private Family Service will take place with interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
