Larry L. Fields

Larry L. Fields, age 71, of Troy, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023, at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy.  He was born on August 8, 1952, in Lexington, KY, to the late Virgil and Carolyn (Carter) Fields. 

Larry is survived by his wife of 42 years: Kris (Klockner) Fields; three daughters: Tricia (Kent) Taylor of Germantown, Katie (Andrew) Gaier of Conover and Olivia (Alec) Daniels of Troy; six grandchildren: Hallie, Oliver, Hudson, Reagan, Owen and Quinn; and several close cousins.

Larry was a 1970 graduate of Troy High School.  In 1989, he received his bachelor's degree of Personnel Management from University of Urbana.  Larry proudly served his country as a member of the US Air Force.  He was a member of Troy Elks BPOE 833 and a regular chair holder at Buffalo Wild Wings.  Larry loved to play golf, fish, watch Cleveland Browns, UK Wildcat Basketball and Ohio State football.  He especially enjoyed watching any sport his grandchildren were participating in and celebrating their achievements.  Larry retired as Project Manager from P.U.I. in Dayton.  He had previously worked at Grimes in Urbana.

Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 PM on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.  Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
