KENNETH JAMES “SKIP” WARNER, age 60, of Troy, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at his residence. He was born on February 19, 1961 in Piqua to Dixie L. (Manson) Warner of Troy and the late Kenneth J. Warner.
In addition to his mother, Skip is survived by his loving wife and childhood sweetheart and soulmate since 1978: Faith A. (Mills) Warner; three children: Nikkia (Fiancé, David Collins) Warner of Covington, Kristal Warner and Kenneth Jeffery (Christy) Warner, both of Troy; seven grandchildren: Justice Warner, Mason Saunders, Triston Overholser, Abigayle Warner, Jersey Warner, Tatum Warner and Legacẻe Malcom; sisters: Pamela M. (Jeff) Scherer of Piqua and Lisa A. Jones of Troy; and he was loved by many including numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and his dogs, Lil-Bit and Pieces. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by mother-in-law and father-in-law: Thelma and Donald Mills; and grandparents: Kenneth and Mildred Warner and James and Mildred Manson.
Skip was a 1980 graduate of Troy High School. He was a member of Troy Fish and Game. Skip enjoyed fishing, poker, nature, music and doing craftsman projects. Most of all, he loved his wife and family, who considered him Superman.
Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
