Jimmie R. "Jim" Brown

Jimmie R. “Jim” Brown, age 72, of Piqua, OH passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023, at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born on July 18, 1950 in Bradford, OH to the late Elmer R. and Lucy (Hiestand) Brown.

Jim married Debby (Smith) Brown on June 23, 1972 in Union City, and she preceded him in death on March 7, 2021. He was also preceded in death by his brother: Jack Brown.

Survivors include his brother: Bill (Karen) Brown of Piqua; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends; and his furry companion: Josie, since his wife died.

Jim graduated from Bradford High School. He retired from the Troy Waste Water Department after 36 years.

Private family interment will be held at a later date in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
